For team staff

Team staff see the same team page as families, plus the controls: the roster, availability requests, bulletins and team events. If you're also a parent on the team, you get both — your own answer as staff, and a row for each of your children.

Tip: use your browser's Print to save any section as a PDF.

Who this is forTeam Staff

Your team page, with controls

The team page opens on Next up, with the availability count under the next game or practice. Below it, Needs attention lists anything in the next three days that most of the team hasn't answered.

What you can do
  • Going / maybe / can't / no reply counts for players and, on a second line, for team staff
  • Request availability without leaving the page
  • Everything families see, you see too

Needs attention

Games and practices in the next 72 hours where more than a quarter of the players haven't replied, each with its own Request availability button. Only team staff see this list.

What you can do
  • Counts update as answers come in
  • Request availability sends a push to everyone who hasn't replied, and an email to those without the app
  • An item drops off the list once enough players have answered

Managing the roster

The manage view covers the working roster: promote tryouts, adjust jersey numbers and positions, and lock the roster once it's set.

What you can do
  • Promote or move players between tryout and roster
  • Edit jersey numbers and positions
  • Lock the roster to freeze composition — numbers stay editable

Tracking availability

Each game and practice shows who's going, who can't, and who hasn't replied — players on one line, team staff on another. Request availability asks everyone who hasn't answered yet.

What you can do
  • Players and team staff are counted separately, never mixed
  • Request availability reaches people by push, or by email when they don't have the app
  • One request per 15 minutes per game, so families aren't pestered
  • Once everyone has answered, the button goes away

Choosing who to ask

The ⋯ menu beside Request availability narrows the request: everyone, players only, or team staff only.

What you can do
  • Everyone is the default
  • Players only asks parents and players; Team staff only asks the bench
  • Whoever you ask, the 15-minute limit is shared

Who responded?

Open Who responded? under any game or practice to see names grouped by answer — players in one group, team staff in another.

What you can do
  • Going, maybe, can't and no reply, by name
  • Only team staff see names; families see counts
  • A quick head count before the bus leaves

Your own answer as staff

Coaches and managers answer for themselves too. Your row says You; if you also have a child on the team, their row sits right under it.

What you can do
  • Answer as staff on the team page, on a game or practice page, and on the availability page
  • Your answer counts in the team staff line, never among the players
  • Needs your answer stays until every row is answered — yours included

Sending bulletins

Write to the whole roster and their contacts in one go. Bulletins arrive by email and in the app, and replies come back to you — not to a shared inbox.

What you can do
  • Compose with formatting, save drafts, send when ready
  • Drafts and sent history keep their own tabs
  • Replies go to whoever sent the bulletin

Team events

Add practices, meetings, and team activities to the schedule — with venue, time, and notes — and ask the roster to RSVP.

What you can do
  • Create events with a venue and location details
  • Request availability and watch the answers come in
  • Events land on every family's schedule automatically

Recording a game

Playing a club that isn't on LeagueMeister? Add the game yourself, and say what kind it was: a league game, an exhibition, or part of a tournament.

How admins set this up →

What you can do
  • Name the opponent, when and where — and add the score if it has already been played
  • Choosing Tournament asks which one — only the tournaments your team is entered in — and fills in its date
  • The kind is what families' stats are grouped by, so it is worth getting right
  • Got something wrong? Open the game and edit the details

Putting a tournament on the calendar

Heading to a tournament? Add it to the team's calendar and say which one, so everyone sees the right weekend and can say whether they're going.

How admins set this up →

What you can do
  • Choose Tournament, then pick it from the list — its name and dates fill in for you
  • Listed: the tournaments your team is in, and any the club has opened for teams to enter themselves. Picking one of those enters your team
  • Families answer Going, Maybe or Can't for the weekend, and you see who has replied
  • Not listed? Choose “It isn't listed” and keep “Ask the club to set it up” ticked. The weekend goes on the calendar now, and you get a notification when the club has set the tournament up, with your team entered and this entry linked to it
  • The games you play there are recorded separately, as tournament games

Asking the club for a tournament

Heading to a tournament the club hasn't set up? Ask for it without leaving what you're doing. The club administrators are notified, and you hear back when it's ready.

How admins set this up →

What you can do
  • Recording a game: choose Tournament game, then “Not listed? Ask the club to add it” — name, dates and a note are all it needs
  • Adding it to the calendar: choose “It isn't listed” and leave “Ask the club to set it up” ticked
  • Until then the dialog shows “Waiting on the club” — asking again for the same tournament doesn't send a second request
  • When the club sets it up your team is entered, your calendar entry is linked to it, and you get a notification
  • Changed plans? Withdraw your request from the same list. If the club dismisses it instead, you're told why
Asking for a tournament, step by step
  1. You

    The tournament isn't listed

Add the tournament from your team schedule. If it isn't in “Which tournament?”, ask the club from the same dialog:

    • Adding a game

Press “Not listed? Ask the club to add it”, fill in the name, dates and a note, and send.

    • Adding the weekend

Choose “It isn't listed” and save. The ask goes with it, and the entry is linked once it’s set up.

  2. You

    It waits on the club

You’ll see “Waiting on the club” in the dialog. Plans changed? Press Withdraw.

  3. Club

    The club answers

They set it up, use a tournament they already have, or let you know it won’t be added.

  4. You

    You get a notification

Once it’s set up, your team is entered — pick it for your games and your calendar. If it won’t be added, you’ll see why.

Running the game yourselves

For a game against an outside opponent, staff run it themselves: take attendance, keep score against the named opponent, and finish the game — no assigned scorekeeper needed.

How admins set this up →

What you can do
  • Record attendance instead of formal roster locks
  • Track your side's stats and the opponent's score
  • Finish the game to publish the result — and reopen it if something needs fixing
  • Tournament games are run the same way, and count towards that tournament's stats
  • Games can be scored from 7 days before they're played; earlier than that, the console asks you to confirm first

Fixing a player on a goal or penalty

Put the wrong player on an assist? Fix that one row — there's no need to undo everything recorded after it.

How admins set this up →

What you can do
  • Tap Edit on the goal or penalty to change the scorer, the assists or the player
  • Everything else about it stays as it was, and the players' totals follow the fix
  • On a finished game, tap Reopen at the top first — Edit appears on each row — then finish the game again
  • The same player can't appear twice on one goal; the sheet won't save it
